The McComb School District would like to thank the NAACP branch of McComb, MS for showcasing their reenactment of a gun violence scene at McComb High School. This performance is a part of their "Stop the Gun Violence" movement.
The NAACP Branch President Mamie Kettles and Project Coordinator Lisa Augustine facilitated this reenactment with McComb Mayor Lockley, Pike County elected officials and first responders.
They all highlighted the effects of how everyone lives are impacted after the shooting, which is always in detrimental ways.
Everyone who participated agreed that gun violence is NOT the answer and encouraged scholars not to engage in activities such as these that lead to jail time or death.
After the reenactment, a few McComb High School Scholars and Principal Rose Clark were interviewed by WJTV News Channel 12.
