SENIOR ARMY INSTRUCTOR

 

MAJ(R) Michael B. Gladney, Sr. joined the McComb staff in October 2019. He retired 01 October 2019 with 22 years of active duty service and a total of 29 plus years with active & guard service. He graduated from the Command and Staff College, Combined Arms Service and Staff, Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses. MAJ Gladney holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Miss. State University, Starkville, MS. His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2^nd Award), Army Commendation Medal (3^rd Award), Army Achievement Medal (2^nd Award), USN Unit Citation, Marine Corp /Army Good Conduct, Army Reserve Component Medal (2^nd Award), National Defense Service Medal (w/Bronze star), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (w/Bronze Star), Iraq Campaign Medal (w/ 2 Bronze Stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal (w/ Bronze Star), Armed Forces Reserve Medal ( w/ Bronze HG & M device), Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon (3^rd Award), NATO Medal, and the Combat Action Badge. MAJ Gladney married the former Theresa Gathings of Aberdeen, MS and they have two children Michael Jr. (26) and Diamond (23).
